My Journey

Welcome, and thank you for joining me on a journey of transformation and self-discovery.

I am a Registered Dietitian (RD) fiercely passionate about supporting individuals as they heal their relationship with food and discover body acceptance through nutrition therapy.

As a real estate professional turned dietitian, starting a nutrition therapy practice wasn’t something I had always planned.

My personal story and struggles with body image and disordered eating, ultimately led me here today.

For years, I battled with body dissatisfaction, overeating, and constant thoughts of food. I tried countless diets and weight loss methods, each one ending in disappointment.

Like most of you, I too had a continuous desire for change and desperately wanted to fit societal beauty standards for women.

I learned to track calories, plan meals, and exercise to shrink my body. As the pounds started to melt away, my desire to become thin didn’t end.

I doubled down on workouts and restricted my diet to shrink my body further.

What initially started as positive health changes spiraled into obsession and anxiety about food and my body.

My weight struggles and disordered eating behaviors led me to change my path, and I enrolled in a graduate nutrition program to become a dietitian.

Through my education, professional support, and self-discovery, I finally broke free from the dieting cycle, gained the freedom to eat without guilt, and made peace with my body.

As I share my story, I hope to inspire you to find peace and empowerment in your own lives.

“I strive to empower my clients to listen to their bodies, understand their behaviors, and make confident food choices to support their overall well-being.”

If you are frustrated by the endless cycle of restrictive dieting and weight fluctuation…

Let’s Get Started!

What is a Registered Dietitian?

A Registered Dietitian (RD) is a credentialed food and nutrition expert with a degree from an accredited dietetics program who completed a supervised practice requirement, passed a national exam, and is required to continue professional development to maintain their credentials.

What is the difference between a Dietitian (RD or RDN) and a Nutritionist?

While the terms ‘dietitian’ and ‘nutritionist’ are often used interchangeably, there is a difference.

A ‘nutritionist’ includes a wide range of training and education levels, and the term is not regulated. Whereas, Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN), like Medical Doctors (MD) or Physical Therapist (PT), are regulated.

In other words, all dietitians are nutritionists but not all nutritionists are dietitians.

It is always important to check education and credentials to ensure the practitioner you are working with has proper training and education.
